hmm.. if i m not a librarian, i probably wont visit this site, though it's actually very resourceful and interesting for readers
NLB Blogs
And, i understand why they're several blogs created, it's to categorise info and to target diff demographic group. YET, eye balls/visitorships is thus divided. can we do sth like what xinmsn is doing? put every current, up-t0-date, popular info in one site for easy access and also to consolidate all the eye balls. Then, a teenager is exposed to what adults are reading as well? What're the pros and cons behind putting everything in one site?
GoLibrary is another good site which list all the events held by NLB. there are talks, leisure activities, workshops, exhibitions, concerts, and many more. BUT whoelse will visit this site if not a library user? Thus, there will be many good events that's being missed as the publicity just never reach the people who really want to be there? Shall we PROACTIVELY promote what we have at relevant forums? Sites? Platforms?
