a new leaf of WORKING life

woo. it's 10.18am now.

right. it's working hour.

let me finish this first, then i start concentrated on work. : P

over the weekend, i & my husband went for a short trip, one without itinerary, no preparation, but prepare a car, some cash, and decide a direction.

it was awesome

what we did? we went in to a comic book shop (tgt, for the first time), he read two while i only finished reading one :)

we walk around, looking at beautiful girls, especially those with nice legs (haha...coz i dont, so we appreciate and admire tgt)

then we got down the car, buy some supersized banana (each is as long as my thigh)

he also keep driving and driving, i sing while enjoying the breeze, scenery by the road, and the smell of villages...

of course, we try to get some good food as dear dear is a foodie. but, we are not so lucky. anyway, we still get our stomach filled with very reasonable price

at nite, we stayed at a very cheap room, RM 40 per night, and it got all we need, a bed, clean toilet... and just two of us play cards... he kept coming out with different ways of playing. that's fun.

in the morning of 2nd day, we woke up naturally, at around 7.30am... wao~ that's a record, a nice record, thus, we spend our day leisurely, relaxed, watched the movie "ice kacang puppy love", and play the basketball game at the slot machines center.

oops but what does the title mean anyway?

while driving home (from his home to my home), i asked am i weird by not getting used to work after so many months? i grumbled about how mundane my work can be. and laogong said, learn to understand the people you dealt with daily... know what they are thinking even they didnt say so

.... hmm... i was then reminded, a book i read (& also shared with listeners). the editor of magazine was doing a job he dislikes much previously, he dislike about all the meetings, and handling customers & colleagues, Yet, he later realised that even when he was doing what he liked most, doing magazine, he has to go for meetings, handling customers and colleagues... and what he learnt in previous job actually helps his editor job.

so. hopefully, dear's reminder brings me a new leaf of working life. kick all the grumbles out. and open my eyes, my ears big big, learn more than what i should and what i think i can, and get out of here, with a better self.

whoosh. kai xuan, kan ba te nek!
